Master everything about SEO and Copywriting right here!

Content and SEO are crucial for technology companies. In this article, I’ll show why based on my experience with clients in this niche.

Content and SEO: Why is it important for technology companies?

Content and SEO: Why do technology companies need content and SEO?

In simple terms, content and SEO are essential for your technology marketing because are the only way to engage potential customers, and make your solution understandable. The advantages of creating content and SEO are:

  • Explain in detail how much your solution is better if compared to your competitors.
  • Driving targeted traffic to your website is essential not only for conversion but also for other forms of marketing, such as targeted ads on social media using the meta pixel.
  • Establishing authority because explaining in detail shows that your company knows what they talk about, and can help potential clients, thus building trust since the first blog post.
  • Visibility in search engines ensures that anyone interested in your solution can find and view your content. These are the most valuable leads because they are already interested in your solution.
  • Instead of persuading every lead, make your content do it for you.

When I say content and SEO, I mean deep content like articles about your solution. In my experience, an article with at least 1000 words.

If someone can’t understand your solution, they won’t buy it.

I recently worked on a project for a technology company, and they have a really interesting solution. However, they have mentioned to me more than once that they are facing a problem with some people not understanding their solution.

They have a B2B business model and big clients, but because they don’t have content and SEO, a lot of people reached out asking for solutions that were against data privacy, and of course, they didn’t do it.

However, it was frustrating to see that they were attracting a lot of people outside of their business model, and a lot of people didn’t understand the solution itself.

I don’t know about you, but I’m a tech nerd, I love the greatness of technology, I love researching current trends, I have my server, and I use Ubuntu (If you know, you know).

However, we know that most people have other interests, and they don’t know about technology. This is important because if someone can’t understand your solution, they won’t buy it. Social media is not enough

Sadly, it’s impossible to cover all the aspects of your solution, such as its capabilities, advantages, limitations, and how it works, in a single social media post.

In my experience, a social media post is usually only a piece of information, and it focuses only on awareness, which means making your product known. The main goal of social media is fantastic, but it is not enough to make sales.

Don’t get me wrong, I love social media as much as anyone, but I know that it is impossible to compare the depth of an article with a social media post.

Of course, you may have more likes on social media, but this doesn’t mean anything when we talking about converting leads into clients. If it did, everyone selling products on TikTok would be a billionaire, right?

The only way you can sell is by attracting people who already are interested in your product,  people who you will learn about your product.

Content and SEO: How to do?

There are two ways to create content and improve SEO for your technology company: learn about SEO and content creation from scratch, or hire a professional SEO copywriter to create the content for you. Did you enjoy the content so far? Follow me on Threads for more.

Is worth it to create my content?

If you plan to create your own content, you need to consider the long-term goal of selling. This includes learning about SEO, mastering copywriting, creating original content, developing content strategies, and more.

The advantage of doing that is that you will have complete control over your content. This includes the frequency of your posts and the language you use. However, I do not recommend it because you may make mistakes in the process.

However, if you choose this path I want to help as much as can, so you can see my blog posts for companies, and use those strategies to help you out. Click here to see my most recent articles.

Is worth it to hire a professional SEO Copywriter?

Yes, if you have a limited budget, you can consider hiring a beginner SEO copywriter and grow together, but it’s advisable to work with an experienced SEO copywriter to enhance your content.

However, an experienced SEO copywriter will have guarantees and results that a beginner cannot achieve right now. This can prevent your company from making mistakes, as well as ensure a good strategy right from the start and optimized content.

This is crucial because in order to achieve top rankings on search engines like Google, Bing, or DuckDuckGo in the long run, your company needs to create optimized content that not only engages your audience but also has the potential to reach a wider audience.
